Antonio Rudiger Promises Epic Payback to Jude Bellingham and Real Madrid Teammates After Unforgettable Goal Celebration!
Antonio Rudiger jestingly indicated his intention to reciprocate the celebratory gestures from Jude Bellingham and his Real Madrid teammates following his decisive goal. The former Chelsea defender secured the lone goal in a victory against Mallorca at the Bernabeu on Wednesday night.
Subsequent to heading the ball past Mallorca’s goalkeeper, Predrag Rajkovic, Rudiger sprinted away in celebration and received congratulations from teammates. However, the goal proved slightly painful for Rudiger, as he was playfully slapped by several Real Madrid teammates, including Bellingham.
When questioned about Bellingham’s slap, as well as those from Vinicius Jr and Brahim Diaz, Rudiger responded, “It’s not a concern for me. In the next game, whether it’s Brahim, Bellingham, or Vini scoring, I will reciprocate.”
Bellingham had a relatively quiet evening in Real Madrid’s first match back since the winter break. Addressing fans on Twitter, Bellingham remarked, “Not our best performance, but three more points on the board. Happy New Year, Madridistas.”
Despite being unable to add to his 17 goals since his significant move in the summer, manager Carlo Ancelotti defended Bellingham, stating, “It shouldn’t be surprising that Jude Bellingham didn’t score… just remember that he’s a midfielder. The fact that he scores goals is an added bonus.”
The result ensures Real Madrid maintains its position at the summit of LaLiga, although they are level on points with early-season pace-setters Girona, who triumphed 4-3 against Atletico Madrid on the same night.
