Tottenham vs Chelsea 1-4 Highlights

Mykhailo Mudryk displayed a lack of enthusiasm in acknowledging Nicolas Jackson’s hat-trick achievement, following the Chelsea striker’s decision to score on his own, rather than setting up a teammate for an open goal.

The Blues emerged as 4-1 victors at the London Stadium after a chaotic night of Premier League action.

Dejan Kulusevski initiated the scoring for Tottenham within the opening six minutes, but the contest quickly spiraled into utter chaos.

Cristian Romero found himself ejected from the match after a reckless challenge on Enzo Fernadez within the penalty area, subsequently leading to Cole Palmer calmly converting the spot-kick to level the scores.

The situation deteriorated further in the second half when Destiny Udogie received a second yellow card for a late tackle on Raheem Sterling.

Tottenham subsequently adopted an unconventional defensive formation to protect their goal, but Chelsea eventually broke through the offside trap, with Jackson netting his first goal in four matches.

This marked the beginning of a flurry of goals for the Senegalese striker, who clinched his first hat-trick wearing Chelsea’s royal blue kit. Nevertheless, his actions may have irked Mudryk in the process.

As Jackson made a beeline for the goal, Mudryk patiently awaited his teammate to pass the ball, setting him up for an easy finish. To Mudryk’s dismay, Jackson opted to go it alone, skillfully maneuvering around Guglielmo Vicario, the opposing goalkeeper, before celebrating with the iconic ‘siuuu’ gesture.

While the rest of the Chelsea squad rushed over to join Jackson in celebration, Mudryk appeared to turn away, seemingly expressing his frustration, before retracing his steps back to the center-circle.

In the aftermath of the match, fans have labeled Jackson as “shameless” in light of his celebrations, taking into account that Chelsea had a two-man advantage. Nonetheless, these goals will undoubtedly boost the 22-year-old’s confidence, especially after facing criticism for his recent goal-scoring performances.
