Rare Red Card Reason for Lewis Dunk in 15 Years

During the argument, Brighton’s captain, Lewis Dunk, got two yellow cards really quickly, so he got sent off. This was the fifth time he got sent off in his career.

Later, it was found out that Dunk got in trouble for saying something rude to the referee.
Because of this, Dunk will have to miss two games against Chelsea and Brentford. It’s a big loss for Brighton.
It’s rare for a player to get sent off for arguing with the referee. The last time something similar happened in the Premier League was in 2008.
The team’s coach, Roberto Di Zerbi, said that Dunk is a good guy and might have made a mistake. He also said that they have to accept the referee’s decision. Dunk said sorry to everyone and understood he did something wrong.
